I see you have started a merger for List of Syrian Air Force bases into List of airports in Syria.
According to Wikipedia:Merging#Proposing a merger Step one is to create a discussion on the proposed destination page's talk page which i see you have not, please create one.

- Hi again
- You have merge support for your merge and since it has been over 15 days, you can merge the articles, just say on the source talk page before you do. Gavbadger (talk) 21:37, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
Your deleted map of Deir Ezzor city
[edit]Sorry that your map of Deir Ezzor city was deleted. I think that having a map for control of Deir Ezzor is a very good idea. I think you should create another map, similar to the format of File:Battle_of_Aleppo_map.svg, which would avoid copyright issues (i don't know how to edit maps). There is information about the control of Deir Ezzor city in Cities and towns during the Syrian civil war#Deir ez-Zor: “On 11 January 2013, it was reported that the government controlled the neighborhoods of Al Qussour and Aljourra (north west) and was shelling the neighborhoods of Alwrdi, Al-Jabaile, and Ar rushdia (south east).[1] Again, in April 2013, it was reported that the government was shelling the neighborhood of Al-Jabaile.[2] From January to April 2013, there were clashes between the FSA and Assad forces around the political police building in in Al-Hawika neighborhood.[3][4][5].” There is also a map for control of Deir Ezzor on the web. It could serve as a starting point, just like we did when we started the map for the Battle_of_Aleppo. I am sure more information can be found if we look for it… Tradedia (talk) 15:42, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
- No problem, the map was inaccurate. I was a bit overenthusiast in making it. After I made it, I found out there still were many area in and around Deir Ezzor under control of the Assad forces. Maybe I'll make a better map later, but it's difficult, while accurate reports on the situation are quite scarce. Anyway, thanks for your message.MakiSumo34 (talk) 22:15, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
