A belated welcome
[edit]Welcome!
Hello, Maiya, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!
I know this welcome is a bit late, since your first edit was in March. But better late than never. Thanks for helping with Wikipedia:Pages needing translation. :) Kimchi.sg 15:16, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
Help desk query
[edit]Have you managed to paste your text into Boris Yeltsin yet? If not, drop by my talk page. EVOCATIVEINTRIGUE TALKTOME | EMAILME 15:20, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
- No, I posted my question at the help desk after doing as much as I could. As I said, the text is still sitting there in the edit box, but now I can't get it to appear in the preview, nor on the actual page. It looks like I've butchered the article! Any suggestions? —Maiya 15:30, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
You could copy what's now in the edit box onto a new page under your user name space (e.g. User:Maiya/Article1), save it and give it another try tomorrow. I wouldn't mine having a go at pasting the text in for you once it's there.
