Hello, MaioManeEdito
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Broc, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Sandunguero (album), for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
- Edit the page
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- Click the button.
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Broc}}

- That's fine. You guys are the moderators. "Sandunguero" is in no way considered a landmark album in the pantheon of Latin Music history not even in the history of Reggaeton, at least not yet. It never received a reissue via a major label from what I know/remember. It was only released underground. DJ Blass is very important to the cultural movement in Reggaeton and his page/info should never be removed. There you would be in the wrong as DJ Blass created the modern sound of Reggaeton and influenced everyone from Tainy to Sky Rompiendo. It would be pure ignorance on anyone who tried to delete that page. It is certainly a noteworthy album and considered a classic among Reggaeton die hards. But Blass crafted his sound on plenty other albums even more influential ones like Daddy Yankee's ElCangri.com and "Los Homerunes" or Tego Calderon's "El Enemy De Los Guasibiri" which all have Wikipedia pages. You cannot hide his influence even if for some inane reason you wanted to. I don't know what that would be.
- PS: RIMAS of which Bad Bunny is one of the chief execs, are buying many classic Reggaeton albums of which "Sandunguero" and "Sandunguero II" count as. I could see "Sandunguero" being known outside it's die hard and underground fanbase one day. Songs like "Sabanas Blancas" by Daddy Yankee & Nicky Jam are infectious club hits that sound much like Rauw Alejandro's recent works. If a company like RIMAS buys this and gets it on the right playlists, it will probably have a "Guata Gata" effect. It's an old song by Plan B which became more popular than when originally released once placed in streaming services about 5 years ago. "Sandunguero" has plenty of songs with that kind of recognition but its current holders 'Reggaeton Nation' don't know what to do with the product. I could see Pina Records buying it back or Noah Assad and RIMAS making a play for ownership. In that case, they might promote the album more and Wikipedia may be obliged to recreate the page if the label puts one of those major label requests where they can even lock a page from everyday editing. I just looked at the history and saw that I am the page's creator? My bad, I did not remember that. Maybe 'Magiciandude's' chart position inclusion makes the page viable? If it did then thanks Magiciandude. There is no contention on my behalf though. Thank you for your work Broc. May you have a nice day. MaioManeEdito (talk) 20:58, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
