A tag has been placed on Draft:Risk Insights, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. --TheImaCow (talk) 09:13, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I am writing to appeal the indefinite block on my Wikipedia account, due to the account being used for advertising or promotion and the username giving the impression of representing a business, organization, group, or website. I do understand and acknowledge the reason for the block. I recognize that the initial content I provided was promotional rather than adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines for neutrality and informative content. I am an employee of the company mentioned in the blocked article, and I wanted to clarify that I am not being directly compensated for contributing to Wikipedia beyond my regular salary as an employee. I wanted to provide informative content about the company, but I understand that the content did not meet with Wikipedia's guidelines. In light of this, I kindly request an unblock and a username change. I commit to adhering strictly to Wikipedia's guidelines moving forward, ensuring that my contributions are neutral, informative, and in compliance with Wikipedia policies. I have a genuine interest in contributing constructively to Wikipedia, particularly regarding informative content about the company I initially wrote about. If unblocked, I plan to make contributions that focus on presenting factual and verifiable information about the company without promotional language. I will follow Wikipedia's help services and guidelines to ensure the content aligns with the community's standards. I do acknowledge my mistake of the publishing process, leading to the inadvertent contribution of content that did not meet Wikipedia's standards. I sincerely apologize for this. I appreciate your consideration of my appeal and apologize for any inconvenience caused by my initial contributions. I am committed to contributing constructively to Wikipedia and will ensure that future edits align with the community's standards.
Thank you for your time and understanding. MainRiskInsights (talk) 12:51, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Being an employee is sufficient to trigger the paid editing disclosure requirements, you do not need to be specifically paid to edit(otherwise every paid editor would deny being specifically paid to edit). Wikipedia is not a place for companies to tell the world about themselves and what they do; Wikipedia articles summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about companies that meet our criteria. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about your company. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the line. If you are interested in being a more general contributor, please tell what topics you will edit about instead. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 13:51, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
