[edit]External links in articles
[edit]Hello :) I noticed you've been adding a lot of external links in articles, most of which are seem to have been meant to be citations, although also some just linking to external encyclopedias as alternatives to wikilinking. Please do not add external links in the body articles. If you have websites that you think would help readers further there understanding of the topic, add those links to an external links section, but use links sparingly even in this case. Thank you! -- NotCharizard 🗨 10:53, 27 July 2024 (UTC)

- Hello asilvering. To respond to your comments - No, Memnon is not the same as Memnun. Memnun is the Etruscan God to represent the art and culture of the Etruscans that are not the same as the Greek or Roman civilizations. It would be perfectly fine for there to be a redirect and limited information about Memnun but the culture is distinctly different- Just like Hera has one Wikipedia page (Greek) and Juno has her own (Roman) myth. In addition there are other Etruscan myth pages - because the Etrustcans had their own thriving civilization prior to the Romans - in fact they brought us the alphabet we are both using :)
- Evidence and lost of Etruscan hyper links:

- Hello PARAKANYAA can you please review the scholarship and secondary source information from Etruscan scholarship noting that Memnun is a Mythological character in this Pantheon. In addition, there is a plethora of Wikipedia pages for other Etruscan gods who were introduced to the Italian peninsula by the Greeks. Example:
- Aita- equivalent of Hades : Aita (an approved Etruscan Wikipedia page for an Etruscan God in the Greco-Roman tradition) .
- Tinia -equivalent of Zeus: Tinia (an approved Etruscan Wikipedia page for an Etruscan God in the Greco-Roman tradition) .
- Thesan- equivalent to Eos- Thesan , Memnon's mythological Etruscan mother- an approved Etruscan Wikipedia page for an Etruscan God in the Greco-Roman tradition).
- What is Wikipedia's hesitation for the creation of a Memnun page to demonstrate a plethora of Etruscan art demonstrating this god but has approved and allowed Wikipedia pages to be created for other Etruscan gods?
- Kind regards,
