A tag has been placed on Haberdine requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

I have nominated I Love New York (Madonna song), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/I Love New York (Madonna song) (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. — Timneu22 · talk 19:00, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on I Love New York (Madonna song), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. A tag has been placed on Was It a Cat I Saw?, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Thank you for uploading File:Images900.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 04:12, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:MadonnaAlbum2.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:MadonnaAlbum2.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Kudpung (talk) 15:03, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information. Kuru (talk) 14:27, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I don't reallly care if I get blocked. Well, at least I won't take it if I get blocked for over 2 weeks.

Indefinite block

[edit]

An indef block does not mean that you are permanently blocked forever. However, you have been blocked because in spite of lots or friendly warnings, official warnings, and a short block, it appears that you haven't really read up on the way to contribute to the Wikipedia. This indef block will last for as long as the administrators think it will take for you to familiarise yourself with the rules. This can last several months or even longer. This will give you plenty of time to learn how to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia and make entries that people will appreciate. When you're ready, and not before, ask to be unblocked again, but do remember that more warnings would risk you being blocked permanently without any chance of coming back.--Kudpung (talk) 01:36, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. Thanks for the information. I think I can already do better, because I am now editing wikia. I don't seem to get any blocks. (Or warnings, for I only got one). —Preceding unsigned comment added by MadonnaPenguin (talkcontribs)

Try to wait six months as WP:Standard offer recommends. After six months, you can come back and ask an admin if you can be unblocked (not through the talk page of course, but through IRC or email). Then if s/he thinks a review is appropriate, s/he can open up an WP:ANI discussion. Kayau Voting IS evil 07:25, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
