hi
[edit]Hi. I found you in categories of users who can contribute in English and Portuguese. I myself am a native speaker of English, but I'm well on my way to learning Portuguese. Just check out my user page and talk page, and join in any of the discussions. To keep updated, you can even put a watch on my user page, which will automatically watch my talk page. :-) learnportuguese (talk) 17:50, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:40, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Suggestion from a veteran WikiProject Comics editor
[edit]In the interest of peace and for the overall good of the Project, I'd like to suggest it might be fruitful to open a discussion with User:Fma12 at Talk:Action Comics. Getting a variety of editors' opinions can only be helpful. --Tenebrae (talk) 01:05, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
Veronica Mars episodes
[edit]I've unredirected the various VM episodes, and had a go at sourcing The Wrath of Con to demonstrate why I believe each individual VM episode meets the GNG and deserves to be retained as a separate episode, regardless of their current individual states, which are admittedly not as good as their potential. Hi I have concerns with NPOV in regards to your edits on action Comics your sources for value on a given condition were questionable. Price guides vary from guide to guide. Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide is probably the most reputed guide which you did not reference and even that it is just guide. Real sales are probably more reliable Amazing Fantasy #15 was the 2nd highest ever paid for a Comic Book behind that rare 8.5 grade action comics. I have concerns of you only listing DC titles as there is a competition between these companies. Fact is Amazing Fantasy 15 sold for more than the DC books. I am reapplying and fixing my edits. Please discuss before deletions. Given condition statement lacks reliable reference, By the way one of your references is outdated, since high value books increase in value very rapidly a reference from 2006 is very dated. Please do not edit war lets discuss. 0pen$0urce (talk) 23:04, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
Well thanks for your insight, I don't have any vested interest, but I notice a lot of fanboy feuding in things like comic books on here. I just have some knowledge and like to contribute. I was making the point that your quick to delete someones contributions yet not even focus on the exiting content that needs work such as the lousy reference that was 5 years old and from an opinionated online price guide I never heard of. Also please be cordial, your coming off as a excessively assertive and I notice I am not the only contributor to mention Edit War to you. I am going to make a edit of the million dollar record because the previous record it bested was not a lesser condition book of the same and that record was broken by both Amazing fantasy #15 and later 1.5 million 8.5 grade Action 1. I am providing references. --0pen$0urce (talk) 19:18, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for your very helpful input over at Hellblazer! I'm taking it all into account, and should do a spruce in the next few days on your advice. You can't always see what to do the hundredth time you read something, and you're look see has been really helpful on an article I've put a lot of graft into lately. And to think a week ago I was in disagreement with you over The New 52! Clearly you are an impassioned comics fan, a great linguist, and a credit to WP!
