The section of the "evolution of diurnality" was very well covered and you added an appropriate amount of information on the eye evolution. Giving some examples of diurnal animals and going into more depth with the gecko example was also a good choice. However, this section does seem a little crowded and intimidating to read when you first glance at it, so maybe within this section you could add sub-sections. I liked that you put "light" and "other environmental influences" into 2 separate sections, this shows that light is one of the main environmental influences on this behaviour. In the "other environmental influences" section I would again suggest having these influences sub-sectioned within and having each sub-section dedicated to that particular environmental influence, just because it seems a little overwhelming when it is all packed in together. Overall this was a great draft, it was simple to understand and read, but yet very knowledgeable, and your grammar and full sentences seem spot on!
