FLAKE band - It all started in Dumaguete City a couple of years back then, when drummer Nico Epa and Bassist Ace Severino got tiered of playing of cover songs and show band stuff Finally decided to arrange there own compositions…along the way they found vocalist Josh Repel with a voice quite similar to Creed and the Calling but fitted their songs just so right So there’s no thinking twice and moved on with extra ordinary guitarist Ji Garcia, they started recording their songs… But due to some circumstances and conflict of schedules they had a hard time getting out, so they decided to look for other members. With the help of todays hi-tech communications thru cell phones and internet, they found their long lost friend, (kababata) and guitarist Mackie Calibo who’s working in Laguna but still into music and compositions. After some arguments and discussions they finally decided to get together as a band, and get set on a another recording project and came up with a band name called FLAKE…
