Toldo
[edit]Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Francesco Toldo. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. There is no official announcement that he retied. No announcement in http://www.inter.it. Matthew_hk tc 08:07, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
Francesco Toldo did not scored any goal for Inter. Own goal did not count. 210.6.121.21 (talk) 09:25, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Gaiassulin.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Gaiassulin.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 23:00, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
Possibly unfree File:Medunjanin.JPG
[edit]A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Medunjanin.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --Peripitus (Talk) 11:50, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Gaiassulin.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Gaiassulin.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 11:52, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
Guillermo Israilevich
[edit]Regardless of his being eligible to now join the Israeli national team, he would have to file an appeal through FIFA in order to do so, therefore, his nationality should be listed as Argentine unless an appeal is made. -NYC2TLV (talk) 18:14, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Maccabi
[edit]The main changes I made were:
- Cleaning up the history section - a lot of it was superfluous stuff about who signed who, and sounded very much like fan-written fluff. I reduced it to the uncontestable facts - what the club won, etc.
- Cleaning up the supporters section - removed a load of WP:OR about fans' opinions.
- Removing the European matches section. This is not supposed to appear on club articles. If you want to retain the information, create a separate one called Maccabi Tel Aviv F.C. in Europe.
- Removing the team line-up. This is definitely not supposed to be on club articles - it is reserved for match articles where there is a clearly defined and evidenced line-ups. This cannnot appear on club articles because the team changes most weeks.
- Removing the squad changes section - again, these are not supposed to appear on club articles. There is an article for Israeli football transers in 2010, and it should be there.
- Removed the Notable players section as WP:OR.
The article now looks a lot more readable and less cluttered, and is roughly the same format as Hapoel Tel Aviv F.C.. Cheers, пﮟოьεԻ 57 09:15, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- Please don't reinstate any of the stuff removed for the reasons above. As I said, if you want to maintain the European information, create a separate article and add it to the See also section. Cheers, пﮟოьεԻ 57 09:16, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- Given that it was a club record, it is worth recording. Please stop blindly reverting and reintroducing unwanted information and mistakes into the article. Sentences like "By the end of 2009-10 season Mitchell Goldhar and Maccabi's management decided to make a change that would bring the team back to be top contender in Israeli football." are not encyclopedic and do the article no favours. пﮟოьεԻ 57 09:34, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- The history section records notable moments in the club's history - winning trophies, setting records etc. The Toto Cup aside (which is mentioned), Maccabi haven't won anything in the very recent past. пﮟოьεԻ 57 09:50, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

The article Tamir Cahlon has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. ϢereSpielChequers 16:54, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
Are you nuts? All I did was remove Pargo from ou roster, only after Maccabi announced that he left the team: http://www.maccabi.co.il/News.asp?id=3084
As a matter of fact, you need to stop deleting my changes of the Maccabi page. I wrote our history section and enriched it with the amazing "achievements by season" section. This has cost me a lot of time and effort, and it is disgraceful beaviour on your side to just delete my work as you please. My work is based on official announcements, and the fact that Casspi will sign very soon has been made publicby leading Maccabi officials. Maccabipage (talk) 13:22, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

Pargo
[edit]His status seems unclear. The Maccabi TA site still lists him on the team roster. But at least one news article indicate he is not on the team.--Epeefleche (talk) 15:19, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 15
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Eliran Atar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Luxemburg (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Re: Tomer Chencinski
[edit]I cant find any source that claims his Israeli, they all state that hes Canadian born i Israel, regardless of whether he played for the national team or not he can be Canadian, because of his birthplace he fullfilles the criteria requierd to be counted as a Israeli player, but he is still Canadian. Halmstad (talk) 02:49, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
- 1. A number a nation allowes people to hold more then one citizenship, however they only allowe 1 nationality. 2. Tomer Chencinski holds both Israeli and Canadian citizenship. 3. The sites i refered to are considerd by wikipedia standards to be reliable and even his previous club Örebro SK reports him as a Canadian born i in Israel. Is it posibal to provide a statment from where he claims he choses Israel over Canada? Rudy Haddad is a French player of Jewish decent, while Jonathan Assous changed his nationality to Isareli. Regardles of our nationalitys we still have to follow WP:VERIFY on Wikipedia. Halmstad (talk) 23:46, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
- Just wanna let you know i posted this debate on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football so that others can give their points of view and the matter being resolved peacefully. Halmstad (talk) 00:08, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
