Nationality

Census records mean very little, no one knows the story behind them, for all anyone knows most of those Catholics who chose Northern Irish only were from mixed marriages, it is well known that people from mixed marriages are in a complicated position in regards to their national identity. I could near enough guarantee you that if you went around every house in my area tonight and asked people their nationality identity 90%+ would chose Irish only and I live in a nationalist area not a notorious republican area.

Some Catholics also view Northern Irish incorrectly, they view it as a geographical term regarding living in the North of Ireland, they don't recognise.

I have watched a lot of Liam Neeson interviews and not once did he mention being Northern Irish, it is a tag that unionists love to enforce on Catholics, you are simplifying things by stating that anyone from Northern Ireland is Northern Irish and you know it, it is a highly charged term just like other national identities.

I am glad that I'll never be famous, you'll never get a chance to paint me as one of your Northern Irish brethren.

I would actually prefer if you banned me to be honest, you would be doing me a favour, I haven't enjoyed my short time hear dealing with unionist ignorance, life is too short to listen to it. Gaelicchief14 (talk) 19:03, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

The only editor showing ignorance is yourself, as well as bigotry. Editors require competence to edit Wikipedia and you are lacking in regard especially if you wish to be banned rather than properly discuss issues at the article talk pages and abide by Wikipedia protocols and guidelines.
