Speedy deletion of MSWiki

[edit]

A tag has been placed on MSWiki, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. VasuVR (talk, contribs) 09:00, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Mark Swingle

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Mark Swingle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. I've noted the "hangon" tag you placed on the above-captioned page and your comments on the talk page. You may wish to familiarize yourself with the provisions of WP:BIO, which outline the criteria against which the subjects of biographic articles in Wikipedia are measured. (You might also investigate our conflict of interest policies.) Essentially I can't see any indication that the individual in question meets our notability policies and thus I am going to agree with the editor who tagged the article for speedy deletion. If you have any questions that aren't answered by the helpful links above, or by WP:Why was my page deleted?, feel free to leave me a note. Accounting4Taste:talk 01:35, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming pages

[edit]

You can use the "move" tab at the top of the page to rename pages on Wikipedia. Cut and paste moves should not be used, as the page history cannot be found easily if a page is moved this way. I have reverted the page back to the article on the album temporarily, so it can be renamed properly. See Help:Moving a page for more information. Also, to your comment on Talk:Kings of Chaos, the article was deleted after a discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kings of Chaos. Happy editing! --Joshua Issac (talk) 18:43, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
