[edit]This figure provided a tool to quantitatively describe the human impacts on the global nitrogen cycle by introducing the nitrogen mass balance between the urban system and natural system. It also contained vivid color and informative data relating to nitrogen transfer initiated by human activities.
However, this figure lacked a title, which could give viewers an overview of the content. The objects and lines used in the figure seem a little bit abstract and stiff. It would a good idea to incorporate a cohesive title and a more detailed presentation of farmland, combustion, and runoff.
Meanwhile, it would be better if the author can enlarger the text and numbers in the arrow, making it more readable to the viewers. Meanwhile, the author can provide the legend information to give viewers a better understanding of the representation of the colors or objetcives.
The author did not provide a caption for this figure, so please add the caption to provide a comprehensive and descriptive explanation of your figure.
