[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Francesco Rossi has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Friendly note

[edit]

You're creating articles about football players who, like Francesco Rossi, don't meet Wikipedia's criteria for notability. Would you like me to go ahead and delete them for you now, or are there any of them which you're planning to add independent sources verifying notability for? Let me know; I'll circle back through in a few minutes to start deleting them. It would probably be best if you didn't waste time making any more biographies until you've reviewed the notability criteria. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 20:09, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

FisherQueen, this part was corrected, thanks! MYS77 (talk) 20:14, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I think it's corrected; I've just deleted them all. Let me know if I missed any. Thanks! -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 20:16, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PROD Protocols

[edit]

When contesting the proposed deletion of an article, as you did with Carl Walshe and Billy Tsovolos, please state your reason for doing so in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thanks. Sir Sputnik (talk) 22:27, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think these articles should be deleted because I edited it as best as possible, and these two players already have professional contracts with the club they belong to. MYS77 (talk)

The article Akwasi Asante has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Young footballer who has not appeared in a fully-pro competition, thus failing WP:NSPORT#Association football, and where there isn't enough independent coverage to pass WP:GNG. Please note that the player's one inclusion as an unused member of the substitutes bench doesn't count as an appearance for WP:NSPORT purposes.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

File permission problem with File:ÁlvaroRey.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:ÁlvaroRey.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. multichill (talk) 10:29, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pedido

MYS 77 (talk)

Repost of Mattia Perin

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Mattia Perin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hang on}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. Player notability

[edit]

Hello, and thanks for trying to improve the coverage of footballers playing in Spain. Please understand that until a player has played in a fully-professional league, he is not "notable". That means he doesn't qualify for a page on the English Wikipedia. In Spain, only the top two divisions are considered fully professional: please see the list HERE. Please wait until players have played in Segunda División or La Liga before starting their page. Having a squad number, or being an unused substitute, isn't enough. Thanks, Struway2 (talk) 07:52, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ajuda - Por favor

[edit]

The article Alberto Almici has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Novo aviso

[edit]

Hello

[edit]

Just to let you know there is a discussion about 2 of your old articles HERE. But don't worry: all the articles you have created recently are good, so it's clear that you do understand the WP:NFOOTBALL guidelines. Keep up the good work! cheers, Struway2 (talk) 10:01, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Same here, from "brother" Portugal, sorry for any incovenience!! --Vasco Amaral (talk) 13:32, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sure mates, I understand, and I just want to do my "job". (: MYS77 (talk) 01:15, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bom apetite / Enjoy that! Possamos ambos cometer mais erros / May we both make many more mistakes! Vasco Amaral (talk) 14:54, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article José Antonio Prieto Hernández has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable footballer; hasn't appeared in a fully-professional league, so fails WP:NFOOTBALL. Also fails WP:GNG

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. When you recently edited 2011–12 UD Almería season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alcoy (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
