The article The Sealed Portion of the Book of Mormon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- no evidence of notability
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:41, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hello Richard, As per your stipulation, "You may remove this message if you improve the article or otherwise object to deletion for any reason. However please explain why you object to the deletion, either in your edit summary or on the talk page." I have complied with your request - the discussion page has had 8 different people comment on why they object to the file being deleted. This much I can guarantee - the article wil Continue to be improved and updated as the sources continue to come in. Thank you for bringing it to our attention; Regards, John (Also addded directly to Richards Talk page) Johnny 03:06, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
Firstly, my name is Roger. Secondly, I do not object to the deletion - I am proposing the deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 06:19, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
Incidentally why was Nemelka banged up in Salt Lake County Jail - apparently on more than one occasion? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 06:24, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: - Hi Roger, I apologize for the name dyslexia - I wrote "Roger" on the others, not sure why I flubbed-up on this one- I remember going to your talk page just to make sure I had it right! Again, I appologize for missing that.
- -Anyways... So, essentially unless we have 3rd party sources- something published directly about this proposed article content/subject, (and not just one or two but a lot of things that I suppose you or I would might refer to as main stream media) if I read your comments correctly on the article discussion page, you'll be deleting this whole thing a Spam; is that right? - I would think if you could give us more time, from the simple list that Rod Vessels provided, that we could provide the notability to justify its ability to comply with Wikipedias requirements and remain as a legitimate article.
- -As for Christopher and the Jail incidences - I'd be more than happy to discuss the answers to the question but this article isn't about him, it is about the contents of a book; his life is being covered in an upcoming authorized biography.
- -Thank you for your time Roger, I do appreciate the efforts you've made to try and help in the way you best see fit- I personally wish I could make this work somehow - I believe it would be quite helpful for many as a good source to find information... Do we still have a few days left to find notability reference or are we just wasting your time and you've already made up your mind? Thank you- Johnny 17:43, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
Have I made up my mind? Of course I have. You are a blatant self-promoter / advertiser. "I do appreciate the efforts you've made to try and help." Get real man - all I have done is moves to get the article deleted.
Thank you for the non-link to Forgeries. This tells me that you have been excommunicated from the LDS Church and also answers my question.
I can understand your creation of a number of sock puppets to support you but what is the rationale behind creating Sealednot (talk · contribs · logs) who argues for deletion? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 07:55, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
- Comment Roger, you are way off base if you think I created even one "sock puppet" as you like to say- Prove to me that I am all those people- go ahead and try- It's simply not true. Beyond Christopher's initial comment he has contributed nothing beyond what he first wrote- and why would I make such a contradictory filled erroneous website or even another login as sacrednot to do as you suggest; contradict rational thinking? I have neither time nor desire to waste time doing something such as that - that person and the other, "getrdone" are two people who would love to wipe out any existence of this work because it opposes their own viewpoints. Thank you Johnny 15:20, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Tsp book.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Tsp book.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:40, 26 May 2010 (UTC)

your signature
[edit]Hi- please sign comments with four tildes. If you are doing so, that means you have modified your signature. In the latter case, it is crucial to have a link to your user page or talk page in the signature. Currently your signature has zero links. If you need help fixing this, let me know. tedder (talk) 06:06, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- YES!!!! Please assist! - I always use the 4 ~ ~ ~ ~ (without spaces) why is it not returning my sig? - Thank you!!!! Johnny 16:06, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- Try going to Special:Preferences. Scroll down to the 'signature' section, make sure the "Sign my name using the provided wikitext" checkbox is NOT checked. I suspect it's checked. (and BTW, I can provide the relevant policy/guidelines if you want, but it's definitely not a good thing, especially because the "name" in your signature doesn't match your username). tedder (talk) 16:13, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- Right you were; it was checked - I'm doing a test here- JohnnyR (talk) 16:32, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- Question... is there any way for me to change my MWAWWIKI to my name? I was thinking when I first created it that it was "an account" not necessarily my signature - but maybe now that the signature seems "fixed" it's probably unnecessary- Thank you SO MUCH for your help! - As is often said, it's the little things ;-) JohnnyR (talk) 16:32, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- You can change it here: WP:CHU. On the other hand, you can craft a signature that uses your name- seems you've done that (JohnnyR). tedder (talk) 16:34, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- Hopefully the JohnnyR will work - I don't need to add to the confusion - I'm positive I can't be the first to have done this nor will I be the last- Thank you for helping! JohnnyR (talk) 17:14, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
