Hello!
Thanks for adding a fawiki version of Pacu jawi. I noticed you transliterated it as پاکو جاوی, but the "c" in the word "pacu" is actually pronounced more like "ch" in chicken and not like "k" in king. I believe پاچو جاوی would be closer to the Indonesian pronunciation? Thank you! HaEr48 (talk) 16:29, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If you type Pacu in Google Translate and select Indonesian as the input language: (example here), you can hear it pronounced automatically (but it's close enough to some native pronunciation). Does that work? HaEr48 (talk) 17:01, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nice, thank you! Do you by any chance know how to fix the arwiki spelling? It's using باكو - I guess the writer assumed that the Indonesian 'c' is pronunced like 'k', but I don't know how the Indonesian 'c' would be transliterated into Arabic. HaEr48 (talk) 20:07, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@HaEr48: I think they have not 'ch' in their alphabet and have no ideas what they do about this kind of words. You can search similar words in English and compare it with arwiki. MOSIOR (talk) 20:40, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
