help
[edit]Can some admin help me out here? The DeMatha High School page got deleted, which must be a mistake. I put a request at WP:REFUND, but it must not be monitored. Thanks. MDfoo (talk) 13:49, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- WP:REFUND is hardly used as it's brand new. I can't find out why the page was deleted. Try asking User:Star Mississippi, the admin who deleted it. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Many otters • One hammer • HELP) 13:51, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. DeMatha Catholic High School was deleted via PROD for not asserting notability and concerns of possible hoaxery. It certainly isn't a hoax as I've found many hits for it. I'd say just make the page again, but add some reliable sources. If you need help in finding sources, ask me. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Many otters • One hammer • HELP) 13:58, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
The log says User:Juliancolton deleted it, so I'm not sure what's going on. Also, why can't it be restored and then reliable sources can be added? MDfoo (talk) 14:05, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- You can ask Julian to restore it if you want. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Many otters • One hammer • HELP) 14:14, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Re: DeMatha High School
[edit]Sorry, but I didn't delete the page. –Juliancolton | Talk 13:56, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, well in that case, I deleted it because the WP:PROD had expired, as it was added over 7 days ago. –Juliancolton | Talk 14:07, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- I could restore it and send it off to AfD for review if you'd like. Would that help? –Juliancolton | Talk 14:14, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- PRODs don't require discussion; if they go uncontested for 7 days (formerly 5), they may be deleted on sight. –Juliancolton | Talk 14:21, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- I could restore it and send it off to AfD for review if you'd like. Would that help? –Juliancolton | Talk 14:14, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, restored. –Juliancolton | Talk 14:24, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
