March 2016
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Airmail Flyers’ Medal of Honor, from its old location at User:MDD1966/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. /wiae /tlk 20:40, 23 March 2016 (UTC)

January 2017
[edit]Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Gordon Darnell. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! - Thank you Zackmann08! It has been years since I did any of this and I was/am a newbie to it as they say. Many things I was interested in I could not find on Wiki so I started adding the ones that were important to me. Maybe time to start up again. I LOVE that there are literally thousand of you/us out there to help with this. My weakness is someone else's strength and it works out wonderfully! MDD1966 (talk) 17:59, 24 April 2022 (UTC)

‘’’Madame Zeno’’’ & Accessdate
[edit]In the Madame Zeno article that you are working on, the cite entries down in the references are complaining that you have an accessdate, but no URL. This is the way that the cite template is set up. accessdate should only be used if there is a URL. In general, if a newspaper is being referenced (through cite news or something similar), even if a url is available for that issue, accessdate generally shouldn't be used since the contents of the stored newspaper are unlikely to be changed.Naraht (talk) 19:36, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you! Sadly many links to sources no longer function as those HAVE in fact changed. I was/am a newbie that wanted to share some of my information with the world but was/am still learning how to properly do just that. I am thankful for the thousands of user whos strengths cover for my weakness. MDD1966 (talk) 18:04, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
THANKS Naraht, I will fix that.
Apology
[edit]I am very sorry. I was trying to be helpful. I thought it would be easier to show you than tell you. I won't do so again. If it helps I think I could restore you sandbox to the condition it was in before I interfered with it. But I won't do so without your permission.
I don't understand how you manage to send me emails. Nobody else does! I am not complaining - I just don't understand what you did. If its easier for you I don't object. Generally people communicate by writing on people's talk page. Then you respond by writing below. This preserves the discussion and permits other people to participate if necessary. - I apologize for whatever it was I did/said back then. I was/am a newbie with this and was adding things that were important to me. I think I was "teritorial" about it and I had big issues with Find A Grave about facts on a famous burial I had created with history and photographs. I had spent many weeks working on it only to have them delete it and rename one that existed but was unloacted, which was against their own policy interestingly enough. They claimed they transferred the bio and all the work I had done but in fact they had not, I took screenshots of everything. The lying of an organization that I dedicated hundreds of hours to free of charge ended our relationship in a bad way. And having driven thousands of miles cross country to get the "facts" from the local archives made it more personals to me. So THANK YOU for trying to help me at the time! Disambiguation link notification for March 24
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Roy H Warner, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Backfire. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Joseph Vincent Connolly moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Joseph Vincent Connolly, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Mccapra (talk) 21:37, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you, it was moved to the main space by mistake after I found it in my sandbox from years ago. Mark D 2603:7080:2B3C:1DA9:ACD7:1CB5:AE9B:F993 (talk) 22:02, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
