User talk:MCA70
Hello, my name is Mark Anderson, and I work in the Communications and External Relations office at Wake Forest. I'm here to contribute factual, verifiable information that will improve the quality of Wake Forest-related pages. I'm aware of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, specifically related to conflict of interest, and I will abide by them. My work will be restricted to suggestions on talk pages, and I will not engage in direct editing any Wake Forest-related pages. My hope is to work with the Wikipedia editors by volunteering information that would lead to better articles. If you want to contact me, please leave a message on this page. Thanks. - "My work will be restricted to suggestions on talk pages, and I will not engage in direct editing any Wake Forest-related pages." I think it would be a good idea if you actually stuck to that. Your recent edits are quite promotional and borderline POV. ElKevbo (talk) 16:09, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
Hello, ElKevbo, I appreciate your feedback. I previously had tried that method but did not receive any feedback on my post to the talk page or any help posting it, so I informed the community that I would begin posting directly to the page but would be happy to hear feedback from any editors. I have posted numerous times but had not heard anything back until your note. I have no interest in breaking trust with the community, and I have tried to work in the best of faith so far. I will be open and say that this is a major project for the University. We have worked to study other peer institution Wiki pages, and have had a number of writers working on updating and adding content for posting to bring the page up-to-date and make it comparable. They have been made aware of Wikipedia guidelines and are working to present factual, sourced information. It is my role to edit and post these. I have about 20 more changes to post in upcoming weeks (including a number of them today). In order to make this work smoothly, I would appreciate hearing back from you on any advice before proceeding further. Again, thanks for letting me know that you have concerns. - Ah, ok. If you ask for input from or collaboration with others and they don't respond then it seems reasonable to proceed cautiously as you've done. You could also make requests for assistance or input here or here; I would start with the universities project or perhaps wait until you're done making edits to ask for a review at the COI noticeboard. Best of luck! ElKevbo (talk) 19:25, 8 July 2013 (UTC)

Re: Wake Forest University page
[edit]Re your message: Done. I would have reverted the edits by Leachclunk during my first revert, but I didn't notice that they were a blocked sockpuppet. Restarting the discussion on the content would be fine. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:34, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
