Deleting talk pages
Hello. Talk pages of articles that don't exist can be deleted under General Criteria 9 of the speedy deletion policy, because it's not useful to have them around - Wikipedia talk pages are for discussing articles rather than subjects, and if the article doesn't exist, there's nothing to discuss. If you want to talk about an article that's been deleted, you can do so at somewhere like Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Massively multiplayer online games, or you can appeal against the deletion following the instructions at WP:WMD. --McGeddon (talk) 18:55, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
ogame edit
regarding this edit why did you not just correct my typo instead of reverting? a consensus was attained on a separate talk page on those links. i missed the .org on the english part. explain please? Anubis1055 (talk) 18:42, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- 1) Why is the German version the official version?
- 2) Why couldn't you just add a "German Version" to the original page?
- 3) Why is the Gameforge page German? It should be English.
- I prefer English to German because English is more widely used, therefore being the unofficial main language of the world.
- If you have any comments, feel free to answer.
- Thanks!

El Juego de Mani an afro-cuban martial art
Sir, I would like to contribute to wikipedia information about the art of "Mani". There are a few people out there claiming to teach this art and they are just ripping people off. How can I contribute without sounding like I am tooting my own horn? Any advice? I have studied with Master Juan De Dios Ramos Morejon from Cuba. I am a certified master instructor under him and the only one in the united states. He was a member of Cuba's "Conjunto Nacional de Cuba" and is the founder of "Raices Profundas" both are folkloric groups.
You can find out more about Juan De Dios in:
"Rumba" by Yvonne Daniel
About Mani in:
"Ring of Liberation" by J. Lowell Lewis "Biography of a Runaway Slave" by Miguel Barnet "Los Bailes Y El Teatro De Los Negros En El Folklore De Cuba" by Fernando Ortiz.
I may be reached at miguelquijano1@yahoo.com or michaelquijano1@hotmail.com Thank you so much.

Your rollback request
Hi! I regret that I must inform you that your request for the rollback permission has been denied. You can discover why by checking the archives at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Denied/October 2008#KevinJi9. SoxBot X (talk) 05:00, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Your request for rollback
After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback can be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback may be removed at any time.
If you no longer want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Happy editing! Why would you do this ? Theresa Knott | token threats 19:48, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Oops. I thought Pwarg7000's edits were good. KevinJi9 (talk) 19:50, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Fair enough. It's worth taking a little time to check. Theresa Knott | token threats 19:52, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Uh... sorry for the confusion, but those signatures are from past conversations. As you can see, my signature no longer has images. ~electricRush (T C) 05:03, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Re:Edit count
Yes I do have over 1000 edits. ~electricRush (T C) 20:05, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I understand, the external edit counter is a bit flawed; it does not count contributions to deleted articles. According to the internal edit counter, I have 1003 edits. ~electricRush (T C) 21:08, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Re:Simple English Wikipedia
Unfortunately, I do not have enough time to join the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, I believe that most articles other than the ones discussing complex chemicals, etc. are simple enough to be understood. Thanks for the invitation though! ~electricRush (T C) 01:16, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Someone, probably you, requested access to the account creation tool. For security purposes could you please confirm that it was you who made the request so we can approve you, thanks. Also, if it was you who created the request, you may also wish to the subscribe to the mailing list, which is used for internal discussions between the account creation team. Re:Semi-protection
I have no idea. Maybe try placing {{helpme}}
on your user talk page and ask your question below. ~electricRush (T C) 22:50, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Hello, you used the {{helpme}} tag. How may I help you? When you've asked your question, please put the tag back so we know to check back. Alternatively, you can join the #wikipedia-en-help IRC channel to get real-time help. (Click here for instant access.) roux 22:51, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
- Heh, that's weird. the page is definitely semi-protected, but I can't find head nor tail of a log entry anywhere. It's quite possibly a bug in the software. You might like to report it at WP:BUG :) Stwalkerster [ talk ] 23:02, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
- The user was renamed, see the protection log of the page here. As Stwalkerster said, you might like to report it at WP:BUG - it's a rename bug! Hope this helps! The Helpful One 23:10, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
- (Edit conflicted) We have found the relevant log entries [1] and [2]. It appears to be a bug in the rename extension, which does not update the protection log OR remove the protection (the better option). That's why there are no log entries. Stwalkerster [ talk ] 23:14, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Regarding Odle Middle School
I would like to thank you for your contributions to Odle Middle School; however, you added one untrue statement regarding photography in 2008-2009: There is no photography class in the 2008-09 year. I would like to argue that to my information there is a photography class taught by Brian Jones during the 2008-09 school year. Thanks, ~electricRush (T C) 01:57, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- Again, I would like to thank you for your contributions to Odle Middle School. However, I have undone most of your edits because of several reasons. Firstly, per WP:MOS#Section headings the capitalization of the section headings that you did does not follow wiki format. Secondly, using the word "distinguished" is not biased, but rather states that the teacher has taught at Odle Middle School for a long time. Thirdly, for the demographics section, the info was from the years 2007-2008, so it would not be suitable to add 2008-2009 as the data probably does not fit anymore. However, off the Odle Middle School website, you could update the info. Again, I apologize for removing "There is no photography class in the 2008-09 year" once again.
Thanks, ~electricRush (T C) 04:32, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
LOL. However, per Wikipedia:Talk_Page_Etiquette#Editing_comments, it does not show good online etiquette to edit other people's comments that are not attacking. Thanks, ~electricRush (T C) 04:56, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- It was a joke though :P. ~electricRush (T C) 05:00, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
NO, MathCool10
If you look at the above message that I sent you:
- :Again, I would like to thank you for your contributions to Odle Middle School. However, off the Odle Middle School website, you could update the info. Again, I apologize for removing "There is no photography class in the 2008-09 year" once again.
You can see that per WP:MOS#Section headings the section headings that you changed back should not be capitalized.

About your message...
Please edit instead of undoing. Thanks! MathCool10 (talk) 05:11, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
In those cases I undo because it saves time and all your edits were not needed or made the article worse.
Thanks, ~electricRush (T C) 05:14, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Regarding Capitalizing Headings
Sorry for the misunderstanding. It was DerRichter who originally uncapitalized them if you see the history of the page. ~electricRush (T C) 05:26, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Revert warring
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Odle Middle School. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. لennavecia 15:06, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for taking part in welcoming people. It's best to wait until people contribute before posting welcome messages; people can 1) get scared off or 2) feel patronised (i.e if you give someone a big message saying "thanks for your contributions" before they've even hit edit).Ironholds (talk) 04:51, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
