Peer review

I really liked your ideas. I would've put some of the sections together, though. For example, you only have one sentence for "Language" and one sentence for Religion; maybe you could combine those together. Food and customs might go together, too. I think that will make your article look better and more professional.--Pmalykh (talk) 01:32, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Copying from Wikipedia

[edit]

Hi - I received a notice that you took content from the article on Colombia. You can copy from within Wikipedia, however you need to make sure that you attribute this in the edit summary. I would make another small edit and leave a note in edit summary stating that you took it from the Colombia article. Something to take into consideration is that in many cases the content does have to be tweaked and re-written in order to fit the page topic. For example, there was tourism prior to the 1980s (this book mentions the Colombian government giving permission to renovate convents into hotels in the 1970s), however the section didn't mention anything prior to this decade. It's definitely worth mentioning the country's history since the turmoil did impact tourism, as many saw it as too dangerous to visit, however I would tweak the content to more directly tie this into tourism.

Aside from that, I did want to caution you about putting raw links into the article - this is not really done on Wikipedia in most cases unless it's very vital to the article. External links like the one you added are more things that you'd add to the external links section. I've removed it from the article, but it's something that you can add to the external links section.

This is definitely an interesting topic, so this was an excellent choice! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:53, 27 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
