Journal categories
[edit]Hi, "journal" categories are intended for use with academic journals, all other periodicals are either magazines or newspapers. As almost all academic journals nowadays are heavily international, we are doing away with all categories in the Category:Journals by country. Thanks. --Crusio (talk) 14:32, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hi again: so what is the difference between "theology journals" and "religious studies journals"? This is not my field and I have trouble seeing it. Also, when you look at the different journals included in the two categories, there seems to be an almost complete overlap, making it even more difficult for an outsider to understand what is going on. Your help is appreciated. --Crusio (talk) 18:20, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- PS: concerning the "academic journals" category, it should rarely be added to a journal. Bogoslovni vestnik, for example, is categorized as a Theology journal, which is a subcategory of Academic journals. So by categorizing it under Theology, it is automatically categorized under academic journal, too, as these things work hierarchically. (it's the same for "religious studies journals", by the way). --Crusio (talk) 18:22, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
Lake Erie net photo
[edit]I did not take that photo; I'm not quite sure who did. But it's licensed under the CCSA 2.5 or 3.0 so I think you can use it for your book cover if you wish (and have a note saying who the uploader is or perhaps that the uploader is unknown) but that's only my uninformed opinion. There are people in Wikimedia Commons who can give you a more definitive answer if that is what is needed. Good luck with your book!--Tomwsulcer (talk) 22:27, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
I took that photo and you are welcome to use it. Sensor (talk) 02:40, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. It is marvelous. (Better late than never.) --Lyonski (talk) 19:32, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Magdalena Gornik moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Magdalena Gornik, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 14:44, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
