Welcome!

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! I will assume that you are the same person as the unregistered/IP editor 2600:1700:1E7E:6810:E4DB:C508:1183:D95F. Please do not reply to discussions at the Teahouse after they have been archived. The text at the top of the page says "This is an archive of past discussions. Do not edit the contents of this page. If you wish to start a new discussion or revive an old one, please do so on the current talk page."

In answer to your question, interviews are primary sources and cannot establish notability. We need high-quality independent sources to establish someone as notable. A list of commonly-discussed sources for music-related topics are found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Sources. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 04:06, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I will also add that having a Wikipedia article should not be considered a badge of honour. Have a look at the essay entitled "Wikipedia:An article about yourself isn't necessarily a good thing". --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 04:11, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
