Etien Velikonja

Hi, good work updating the article on him however, during the 2012-13 season, players needed to play a certain amount of games to receive a winners medal for a league title which Velikonja did not. Hi, thanks for the reply. This link here - Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Archive 101#Honours - shows the sort of discussion that has been had on these situations and the general consensus of the Wikiproject is that the easiest way to determine eligibility for an honour is by way of whether the player was given a medal for the award. There will be far more in depth discussions in the archives but I don't have the time to find some myself.

It's a hard one to judge unfortunately but that is the general consensus I believe but you are welcome to enquire there yourself if you believe it should be included. In my personal opinion, his 3 appearances in a 46 game season doesn't warrant an inclusion, a similar example would be Ruben Loftus-Cheek who played 3 games in a 38 game season last year and did not receive a medal.

Just for you to be aware, you may want to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and Wikipedia:Non-free content if you have a direct link to Velikonja or his PR team. I can see you've had some edits reverted due to possible breaches of these policies by other users. Wikipedia:WikiProject Football is also a good page to look at to see what sort of discussions and guidelines are in place for articles on football players.
