License tagging for Image:LloydBioPhoto.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:LloydBioPhoto.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Image copyright problem with Image:Zechariasitchin.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Zechariasitchin.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sue Anne 04:53, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Welcome!
Hello Luluamelu, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Lloyd Pye does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy, and has been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.
There's a great page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Image tagging for Image:Shulgi2.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Shulgi2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Do not upload Shulgi.jpg again under any filename, unless you can tell us where you got it from, and the copyright status of the picture. This is your last warning. If you upload it again without specifying either its source or copyright, you will lose your upload priviledges. Kimchi.sg 03:26, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Lloyd Pye article
[edit]Please do not repeatedly insert tracts of (irrelevant) material from other encyclopedias into the Lloyd Pye article. Please see talk:Lloyd Pye for a (detailed) reasoning of why this material is confusing and irrelevant. If you have issues with my decision to remove material considered irrelevant please discuss it on the Lloyd Pye discussion page. --JonAyling 18:43, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Warning
[edit]You've recently removed a semi-protect template from Lloyd Pye. Don't do this, as it is a disservice to other editors. Only administrators can protect or unprotect a page; leave the template there until the page is unprotected. Bucketsofg✐ 17:37, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Bucketsofg✐ 17:38, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
