[edit]

did you already see what J.Baez is doing? [1]--kiddo 19:38, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually Baez and Christopher Isham are the pioneers in implementing categories in QM. I have never really studied them in depth but it seems like a worthwhile effort. By the way, Isham has a book on QM, I don´t if he explains the aplications of categoty theory to QM.

Do you have copies?--kiddo 03:28, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, I don't have copies, only the real book. It is quite cheap, around 12 bucks in amazon [2], it should also be available in some local bookstore. Luis

I am happy to share with you my last [3] paper :) and how are you doing in Morelia? --kiddo 02:25, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great, congratulations on your new paper, it's always good to see local research (specially in pure mathematics where so much more research is needed). On the other side, I was able to assist Loops 07 and talk with Jorge Pullin, Alejandro Corichi, Carlo Rovelli and Abhay Ashtekar. On the astro stuff I am publishing this summer the analytical expression for photoionized regions that I found last year.--Luis Sanchez 06:43, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For the accretion lectures

[edit]

Is it part of the EM ones?--kiddo 00:12, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, it's just a miniseminar with the twofold purpose of astro advertising and trying to lure some of the attendants in to the EM course. --Luis Sanchez 18:13, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! As you may know, there is another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view previous uploads by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'file' namespace from the drop down box (or see [4]). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!
