Revised Wilts & Berks map

You seem to be managing fairly well with this!
A few comments, in no particular order.
- The map should show the historical AND restored routes -- if necessary you can create submaps to show the detail if relevant -- I was prompted by the comment next to the Wantage Arm: this is a contender for a sub-map, as the comment should be within the body text.
- Showing the lengths in water would be good, too. I don't think there's a problem if this means you need to add odd blue straights between other features.
- If you don't have the correct icon (eg for aqueducts) there are people around who can create them for you. Just follow the links (for editors) from the Legend page and you should find them. The canal maps use drawing technology swiped from the railway editing crowd (including me), so don't be surprised to find multiple transport modes being discussed.
- Railway bridges need the lines linked. (I may be able to help with this, but you'll need to provide suitable location details).

- Well, thank you! A word of praise and my clockwork is fully wound.... you'll never get rid of me...
- Wantage arm - I misread your comment and tried to make it run beside the main line - wrong! Will change. Not sure of the value of a sub-map, as it's not going to be restored. I suppose if I could find some good refs, it might make a history page (groans - more research for refs!).
- Railway bridges - not sure what you mean about linking the lines. Please explain?
- The junction at the top is a bit of flagship, so it certainly should have its own element. I'm not sure how to deal with it, as there needs to be a River Thames element, but there also needs to be a Jubilee Junction element. Not the same as "new basin". For now, I've inserted a straight bit, but that's not quite right, is it?
re: Wantage Arm (etc)...
The problem you have here is that the article needs to describe the historical canal, and the canal as it is now (which, being under restoration, will be a dynamic description), and the completed thing. There will be enough information to cover the restoration in an article separate to the historical article. Indeed, you could easily envisage an article on the Wilts & Berks Canal, covering the present day canal, and linking to separate History of the Wilts & Berks Canal and Restoration of the Wilts & Berks Canal articles, just to keep everything in some kind of order. You have only scratched the surface so far -- imagine writing just one sentence for each mile of canal -- that's 600 words before you've even got going on the locks, bridges, traffic,...! Fortunately "there is no deadline" (one of the WP buzz-phrases -- there's a page about it somewhere!) so you there's no need to hurry! (The Lynton and Barnstaple Railway have a similar problem.)
Sub-maps may allow the article to flow better (they can accompany a specific paragraph), and they will certainly allow simplification of the main map. I would avoid going down any course of action that depended on your colleagues editing their own sections -- that is a recipe for patchy coverage. Separate maps should be considered at geographical splits: R. Thames to Kingsmill, Thames & Severn to Kingsmill, Kingsmill to K&A, Calne Branch, Chippenham Branch (not so sure about the latter two). The K&A split may correspond to its organisational branches out of sheer convenience geographically, and because it suits the article.
Railway bridges -- each railway line will have its own article here already to which you can link.
Jubilee Junction -- have had a little play. There are loads of ways to show this. The importance of the junction needs to be brought out in the article, but locatable on the map.
