Thanks for uploading File:Isauro gabaldon2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

on Rizal

[edit]

Thank you for your recent contribution on the Article. You added some paragraphs that were beautifully written. Unfortunately, a lot of the words you used, "ridiculously bombastic", "so absurd", "brazenly unfair", go against Wikipedia's policy. Please read Wikipedia Manual of Style. I did the same thing when I was new in Wikipedia; I had to rewrite everything. I'm sure Rizal's trial was brazenly unfair, but it's not for the writer to say it. It is for the reader to judge that it is so.

It is hard for us Filipinos not to inject our own emotions when writing about Rizal. The article has undergone a lot of changes but it has never been a Featured Article (a category for the best written) because of so many editors adding their own personal opinion and sentiment. A Wiki article should never be an editorial or a commentary. I hope you would re-write the paragraphs from a neutral point of view (See NPOV) Thanks! --KaElin (talk) 12:01, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Antonio de Ayala requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copying text within Wikipedia

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently, in April of 2009, copied or moved text from Valeriano Weyler into Marcelo H. del Pilar. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to make a note in an edit summary at the source page as well. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Reusing Wikipedia content. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:33, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

October 2009

[edit]

Your recent addition to Marcelo H. del Pilar has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. In this series of edits, you seem to have pasted text from [1] and [2] Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:15, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
