Please don't add anchors where none are needed

As I have already pointed out to you whils you were editing not-logged-in, we do not need an anchor as no redirects historically link to a section titled "Licensed". Please do not edit disruptively as it might be considered an edit war and as such could lead to a block for both of us. If you have any further questions, let me know. Hi, I am still new to editing Wikipedia, but is there a reason an anchor would cause a problem? It seems common place on most pages.

Generally, anchores are used when a long-standing redirect or multiple singular links to point to a section that has been renamed, e.g. he have an article with section "foo", which has about 300 incoming links, and it is decided on that it should be renamed "bar", you could either a) change every link to link to bar instead of foo, or b) use an anchor to keep the foo section-link valid. In the case of this article, there has never been such a redirect, and at first glance I could not find any link pointing directly to a such-named section. Because of this, we do not need an anchor, and adding one artificially does not improve the article, rather just dully adds to the code. You said "It seems common place on most pages", could you give me an example for this?

P.S.: When commenting on a talk page (regardless if User talk, Wikipedia talk, or Article talk), it is generally considered useful to indent your message using colons : added afront every section of your message. That is, always one more that the previous had. As you can see, both sections of my comment have two colons, so it appears just right of yours, and your next comment should start with three colons. Furthermore, the end of the entire message should have four tildes ~~~~ appended to it, which adds your signature and timestamp (in UTC time). Lordtobi (✉) 16:28, 28 November 2017 (UTC)

You know whats strange? I looked all over the web reading about anchors, and could not figure out how people were linking to part of Wikipedia articles without an anchor. That's the whole reason I was frustrated. As long as you are case sensitive, you can just link like this (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Lego_video_games#Licensed_properties) and it works fine. I do not know why that information was not more forthcoming in my search results. You can understand my confusion now, I think, when I assumed other pages had anchors. Lucka23 (talk)
