[edit]Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Ole Miss Rebels, you will be blocked from editing. Do not remove content from articles on Wikipedia. -- ALLSTAR ECHO 18:16, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
The tone of this article seemed a bit passionately braggadocious. The original claim of "one of the winningest football teams in the NCAA" made it sound as though it was on the level of the Alabamas, Michigans and USCs of college football. The fact that this statement is now accompanied by "ranked 31st overall" is a bit more honest. I'm just sayin'! Lrgjr72

- Point well taken. I will say, however, that your comments seem a bit self-rightous. Your version was no more constructive than any other (mine or otherwise). The few items in such a basic article needing source confirmation had it already (i.e., census data). In addition, the original version of this article sounded like a Southaven pep-rally written by the local chamber of commerce. I was merely trying to tone it down to a theme with universally accepted facts.
- We appreciate your efforts, and encourage you to continue to contribute to our encyclopedia. Also, please don't take the comments above personally -- they are part of our standardized templates. If you disagree with any of the changes made please comment on the discussion page associated with the article in question. When adding content, please ensure that it is verifiable, preferrably using in-line citations from reliable sources. Also, please make sure that none of the material you submit is copyrighted, and falls outside of our self-promotion guideline. Thanks for the note! /Blaxthos ( t / c ) 08:24, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- No problemo. I appreciate the tips. Sorry if I overreacted!!

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Oakland County, Michigan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page White-collar (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Troy, Michigan. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. John from Idegon (talk) 19:06, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
Your photos
[edit]I reverted a few of your edits. At Oakland County, Michigan, you added photos that pushed the infobox nearly to the bottom of the article. Please take a moment to read MOS:IMAGES, and note that the default image size is 220 px. If you need help, feel free to ask. Thanks for your understanding. Magnolia677 (talk) 13:18, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- Understood. Appreciate the heads-up. Just now really trying to understand the templates, codes and best practices. It's all pretty overwhelming. Zero intuitiveness. I have loads of high-resolution aerial images that would greatly enhance some of the articles I'm targeting. Mostly related to the Memphis and Detroit areas. The pictures in the Oakland County infobox are really dated. If you can take a look at the current images with the ones I tried to add and let me know what your thoughts are.. aside from sizing. I have learned how to include more than 1 image per row. But only by dissecting the template codes. LRGJr72 (talk) 23:59, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- Again, please stop adding oversized images to articles, per MOS:IMAGES. --Magnolia677 (talk) 12:09, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
Could you get a skyline photo of Royal Oak?
[edit]@Lrgjr72: Could you please get a good skyline photo for Royal Oak, Michigan?
Preferably id like to see it from this angle.
Thanks! WeaponizingArchitecture | scream at me 15:35, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
- More Royal Oak skylines uploaded. Not the angle you asked for. But most of the pictures that I take are Detroit-centric. So I even with suburban locations I try to capture Detroit's skyline on the horizon.
- Once spring is in full-effect I'll get any angle you want. Stay tuned. LRGJr72 (talk) 21:35, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
