Hello, You deleted our wiki page for a living artist - Cobie Russell.

I previously had her ASK ART link as a reference - http://www.askart.com/artist_studio_bio/Cobie_Russell/11271959/Cobie_Russell.aspx

ASK ART is a very reputable art website. And then recently I added her studio website - www.cobierussell.com, which we (the artist and I) designed and built for her work. Her bio was for all of these sites was written by the artist and I. Please advise how I get her wiki page back in the system. Thanks.

Hello, Lrbarnes88. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Cobie Russell, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Cobie Russell to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, JbhTalk 16:29, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello jbhunley, I would like to add this reference which should take care of confirming the artist

[1]

Can we add this now or do I have to start over and create a new article?

Thanks!

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Lrbarnes88. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Cobie Russell, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 02:20, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
