Welcome!
[edit]Hi Lowee, WP:WELCOME to Wikipedia!
I noticed you are adding lots of Whitlams-related stuff. That's great, but when you are adding info to WP you need to be careful about copyright. Wikipedia is available under a "free license" (the GFDL), which means in general all the text and images on it have to be too. Free license basically means anyone can use, redistribute, and edit the image for any purpose, including commercial. (Optionally, they might have to attribute the original image or text to the creator/s, and/or license their work under the same license.)
Basically stuff like album covers, book covers, etc, are rarely if ever going to be available under that kind of license.
However there is a clause called "fair use" whereby the copyright holders of images (for example) retain all their rights, but we (Wikipedia) agree to use the image only for a very specific situation. This is where album covers etc come in.
Long story short... please don't tag images with {{somewebsite}}. All that means is that someone will have to come along after you and figure out what the license should be (and in the worst case, it will just be deleted). For album covers, there is a special tag you can use: {{Albumcover}}.
Please have a look at Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags for more information about this. Also, read Wikipedia:Image description page for information you should provide when uploading an image.
I know this is really overwhelming, but it's important. If you have any questions please leave me a note on my Talk page. This goes for any FOWs who are interested in contributing to Wikipedia, I am more than happy to go through the basics!
There's a whole lot of other "welcome" info I could've given you, but I guess this will do for now. Cheers, happy editing!

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Whitlams_Years_DVD.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Whitlams_Years_DVD.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BigrTex 21:04, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit]I have tagged Image:The_Whitlams_A_Retrospective.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. The Whitlams
[edit]The The Whitlams article received heavy editing today by new/unregistered users, which I noticed at WikiRage.com. The article may benefit from a good review. According to Wikipedia Page History Statistics, you are one of the top contributors to that page. If you have the time, would you please read over the article and make any necessary changes. Thanks. -- Jreferee (Talk) 02:43, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:The Whitlams - Fondness Makes The Heart Grow Absent - Sample.ogg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:The Whitlams - Fondness Makes The Heart Grow Absent - Sample.ogg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:32, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:The Whitlams - I Make Hamburgers.ogg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:The Whitlams - I Make Hamburgers.ogg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
