Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Euthanasia in Socotra, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Euthanasia in Socotra, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Euthanasia in Socotra. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write practically anything you want.

Proposed deletion of Euthanasia in Socotra

[edit]

The article Euthanasia in Socotra has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no assertion of notability, incorrect sourcing, and is probably a joke or a test page.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Can you please explain what you are trying to accomplish with this article? Do you have any real sources or reasons to keep it? I do not understand why you nominated it for deletion shortly after you created it. If you want help with something, please let me know. EnviroboyTalkCs 16:20, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
