[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. However, please know that editors do not own articles and should respect the work of their fellow contributors on Nine-dotted line. If you create or edit an article, know that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- 李博杰 | —Talk contribs email 09:46, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]I suggest you stop edit warring and bring the issue to the article talk page. Wikipedia is built upon WP:CONSENSUS amongst the greater community of editors, and currently your edits at Nine-dotted line do not meet consensus. Bring your arguments to the talk page, and discuss with other editors, rather than reverting without proper communication. If you continue to edit war, you can potentially recieve a block, regardless of whether you believe you are right or wrong, as this is clearly disruptive behaviour. Keep in mind that on Wikipedia, nobody WP:OWNs articles, and that it is a collaborative project; hence communication with others is a core principle of contributing to Wikipedia. -- 李博杰 | —Talk contribs email 12:01, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Nine-dotted line. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. -- 李博杰 | —Talk contribs email 12:06, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
