Republic of Sudan common name
[edit]Well of course the front page calls it Sudan; it wouldn't make much sense for South Sudan to secede from North Sudan. That being said, while I agree it's too early to tell whether this event will be viewed more as a secession or as a partition, some WP:RS are already using the colloquial "North Sudan". I really do think it bears inclusion; after all, I'm not proposing anything nearly as drastic as a page move. -Kudzu1 (talk) 22:25, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
- No worries. We're both editing in good faith and it's a discussion that may end up lasting a while. -Kudzu1 (talk) 22:36, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
