Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Please look into me edit on kashmiris article. I added about kashmiri migration during Afghan rule which was the beginning of Kashmiri migration due to oppression. But other editors removed it because of source problem. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mi.wi.si (talk • contribs) 12:07, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
Full citations
[edit]Hello, I notice that you have been adding material sourced to Dossani-Rowen or other edited collections. Can you please make sure that you include the author and title of the articles you are citing. You should note that there are requirements of reliable sources for history and the authors must be historians in various senses. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 08:48, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
Please use dispute resolution methods
[edit]Instead of fighting with Mi.wi.si over content. The article has a talk page for editors to discuss edits, instead of reverting each other. If necessary, ask the community to give consensus to a version via an RfC. If you need any assistance, contact me either on my talk page or by pinging me. Disambiguation link notification for May 1
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kashmiris, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Butt. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Towns Hill. Thank you. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 21:25, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
