January 2021
[edit]Hello, I'm Elizium23. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bob Black, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 06:14, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, I have reverted a number of your category additions.
- Per WP:CATV and WP:V we require a reliable, secondary source to support all categories. That means no blogs and no user-generated content and no self-published sources. "Texas Monthly" for example, is a good source, and thank you for using it.
- Anywhere it says "[citation needed]" you can't just add category for that stuff, because it's not properly sourced. We'll either remove the text or give it a citation and then you can add the category.
- We have nothing against the SubGenius categories, we're just hoping they are adequately supported by sources. When I found it during the last round of edits, it was woefully unsourced and something had to change! Hope this helps! Elizium23 (talk) 06:18, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
Now you listen to me, Wikipedia!
American SubGenii is my favorite Wikipedia category of all time! Robert Crumb, Marshall Ledbetter, and Bob Black are truly members of the Church of the SubGenius and you guys just don't want them on their articles. I wasn't vandalizing, And I am not going to vandalize high-speed this time. I said that if you messed up the American SubGenii Wikipedia category one more time, I wouldn't vandalize with high-speed edits replacing content with inappropriate Sesame Street images and the F-word as well anymore and I would just have to leave the category alone. Get what I'm saying here? Ledbetter was an enthusiast of the SubGenius and so the category needs to be in the article, but you guys just won't allow that on Ledbetter's too as well.
