On a Category called Monuments and Historic Places of Bologna

[edit]

I would like to argue for deleting this category: there is a site that includes Buildings and structures in Bologna, and that includes a category for Monuments and memorials in Bologna. As to Historic places, that seems a fairly arbitrary definition. Every building has history, how do you define historic places? I would prefer if you could point out to me a parallel category for other series. How does this category fit in to a larger category. There are no Monuments and historic places categories for Rome, Milan, Florence, or Venice. Some of those entries have a "Tourism in Florence" or "Venice landmarks" template. If you ask me, I do not like those either, but at least they have some rules for content: for example, the Venice template states "the template should contain only the MAIN landmarks, not ALL of them. See similar at Rome landmarks template."

My recommendation is to delete it entirely. I can live with a template of landmarksRococo1700 (talk) 03:53, 21 January 2016 (UTC).Rococo1700 (talk) 00:05, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
