Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising. For more information on this, see:

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Ckatzchatspy 09:46, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Devils Brigade (album). I am giving you this warning because your entire contribution history consists of adding external links to scenepointblank.com. This gives the impression that you are affiliated with the site or are attempting to promote it. If this is not the case, and you believe the site is reliable, you should use it as a source to cite content in articles rather than simply adding it as an external link. Adding external links to the same website across many articles is a red flag for spam. I suggest bringing the site up at WT:ALBUMS for discussion to see if it can be added to Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Review sites as a review source. --IllaZilla (talk) 14:14, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

On where to suggest music sources

[edit]

You asked at IbLeo's talk page how you should "suggest adding a publication as a Source of music reviews". I've left a reply in that place, but I thought it might be more helpful to reply directly at your own talk page. I don't think WikiProject Music maintains a list of likely sources, but you could raise the issue at their talk page. WT:WikiProject Albums would also be an appropriate place to raise the issue, but not by adding a category, but by adding a new section via the "new section" tab at the top of the page. Please note that I'm not endorsing Scene Point Blank as a good source; I haven't checked it out, and you may find that it doesn't satisfy Wikipedia's standards for reliable sources.
