February 2006

[edit]

Hi LordRahl,

Could you please rename the title of the file :"IslamicDivorce.jpg" to "IslamicStonning.jpg". I don't know who to do it. Thanks--Aminz 01:28, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea how to do it myself. I guess you can always save it locally on your machine, and upload with new filename.--LordRahl 19:29, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I think I should be able to do it.--Aminz 21:34, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The picture added to Severe punishments

Please provide a reference for the picture. It seems to me that this picture is a forgery. Since when someone is stoned, he or she will be completely wrapped. This women's face is not wrapped. Please provide a valid reference for the picture. --Aminz 00:52, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Someone is reverting my edits here! ?! --Aminz 03:14, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just noticed it too (the editing). Anyways - here's the link to the article. Maybe they're going to wrap her face right before she gets stoned? I'm pretty sure that's how it went in the video that was smuggled out from Afghanistan.

No. If you really want to see how people are stoned in Iran, you can find it at [1]
I am persian and assure you that I am almost sure that the picture is a forgery. --Aminz 09:49, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ok - that explains your bias, do what you want with the pic, I don't care. --LordRahl 18:41, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, I was the first one who agreed with your opinion of inserting the picture in the article. That picture is just suspicious. Government doesn't allow people to take such pictures in general. See stoning.--Aminz 23:48, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. If you don't want to use the pic, it's up to you. --LordRahl 01:15, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
