[edit]Thank you for discussing these edits instead of continuing to make them and leave them unexplained. As you have identified yourself as connected to the subject, let me first point you to our policy on conflict of interest. This doesn't mean you cannot edit the article, but that you should be careful in doing so. Also, please note that we require most claims, especially those in articles about living persons, to be cited to reliable sources. Currently, this is the case in the Fletcher article. I shepherded this article through our process for identifying good articles. Among the requirements to be designated a good article are: (a) it provides references to all sources of information in the section(s) dedicated to the attribution of these sources according to the guide to layout; (b) it provides in-line citations from reliable sources for direct quotations, statistics, published opinion, counter-intuitive or controversial statements that are challenged or likely to be challenged, and contentious material relating to living persons—science-based articles should follow the scientific citation guidelines; and (c) it contains no original research. Further, the article is currently undergoing evaluation as a featured article, where the standards are even higher and require more community input (hence my intense interest in figuring out the intent of your changes).
All of that is not to say that your changes are not welcome. Anything that improves the article and is cited to reliable sources is fine. However, some of your edits, whether intentionally or inadvertantly, removed the in-line citations used to ensure the article's verifiability. As you are a new editor, and as the article is presently undergoing evaluation, I would ask that you list your proposed changes and the reasons for them on the article's talk page. Talk pages are where the Wikipedia community typically discusses major changes to an article before they are implemented in order to get feedback on those changes and build consensus for them. Hope this helps you understand where I'm coming from. I'll be glad to help you make necessary changes. Please note, however, that I may be off-line most of the weekend, starting in just a few minutes. Please be patient with me, and we'll get all this sorted out! :) Welcome to Wikipedia!
