The sock
[edit]I think you should start the sock investigation on ScratchMarshall. I prefer to have more evidence than what you provided me with before starting a sock investigation. Also, I knew Ranze to be more interested in gender topics. If you start the investigation, I will weigh in. The reason I haven't yet responded to you via email is because you are a newly registered account who appears familiar with the ins and outs of Wikipedia. Plus, I have stalkers to worry about on this site. So, naturally, I'm suspicious and wouldn't want you to have my email. I did show Berean Hunter and SuperMarioMan your email, though. SuperMarioMan thinks you have a case. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 14:41, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
That's understandable. I know that if I was in your situation, being stalked and hounded by editors, I wouldn't trust this account, either. Have to say something though: if you ever feel sad over these stalkers, take pride in the fact that you are a much, much, better human being than them. Just think of how much time they waste simply to upset you. They could be doing something useful for others instead of harassing people. Apologies if I sounded cliche there. Came up with a idea you could use: if you don't trust an editor, create a throwaway e-mail and respond to them from there - avoids a risk of e-mails being used to dox people and such. They'll probably think it's your actual e-mail address and get upset if they try to Google it and end up finding nothing. Hope you're having a fantastic week, Flyer22 Reborn. - The email attached to my Wikipedia account is strictly for Wikipedia. But I still don't want suspicious accounts to have it. I appreciate you coming to me about this sock matter and opening a sock investigation on it. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 02:29, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for notifying me about this investigation, even if you forgot to sign and neither the investigation or notification mention this off-wiki coordination betwen yourself and these other 3. Funny you mention making "throwaway" accounts, above one of them points out your new-yet-familiar attributes, it sounds like you might be conjuring up accusations to distract from you being the actual sock? When I compare you and Tyciol or you and Ranze I'm seeing similarities. ScratchMarshall (talk) 19:42, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
Just for the record, Flyer22 Reborn was the only person I e-mailed. She e-mailed it to the other two and discussed it with the rest, I presume. Yes, Tyciol and Ranze have common interests with myself, this doesn't mean I'm related to them. Lolifan (talk) 20:11, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
- This and that weren't rude/uncivil enough that there was a need to retract them. Your comment supported my point: overlap in interests can be found all over the place so people shouldn't jump to conclusions. I'm not sure where you get the idea that the bench press is a rare interest, it's probably the most popular lift for men. TOO popular really. ScratchMarshall (talk) 17:51, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
