[edit]Hello, you asked why I reverted your contributions to the Sam Browne belt article. The key to this is what you wrote on my talk page "Second, there is no proper source to be cited. No one has made any studies about it and most of what I write is the result of observation and experience which are, I think, reliable enough, as far as I am concerned." On Wikipedia every claim in every article has to be verifiable by any reader who comes along. If a claim cannot be verified then it does not belong in Wikipedia. Please read about that policy here. In order to establish that a claim is verifiable we require reliable sources to be used to back up that claim. Basically a reliable source (under the Wikipedia definition) is a notable, independent source writing significantly about the subject. Your own knowledge about the subject might be good enough for you (as it should be) but it's not good enough by Wikipedia standards. We do not know who you are and that you are an expert on the subject. But even if we did we really prefer secondary sources which in this case would mean a reliable source summarizing, vetting, etc. your published work on the subject and then we would add that information to the article with proper citation.
By not meeting the requirements for reliable sources and verifiability your edit had to be reverted. If you can provide a reliable source that supports the claims you made then we can find a way to add that information back into the article with proper citation.
