Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. serial # 18:19, 13 May 2020 (UTC)

Volkswagen
[edit]hi bro can u pls overwrite the vw logo 4 me cuz i cant Tupka86 (talk) 17:32, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
- Please drop it. You may not like Volkswagen new logo but it is what it is. If you want to argue in favor of the old logo, please join the discussion at Talk:Volkswagen but stop reverting or worst yet replacing the new logo on Commons. Pichpich (talk) 20:28, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
- I didn't choose to do it myself. Somebody called Tupka86 asked me to, so I decided to say yes because I was afraid that if I said no then he would be angry. Logo fixer (talk) 20:45, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
Re: Nicki Minaj Anaconda
[edit]Because you're actually supposed to use the song's official single cover art. That's the rule. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChamAlien (talk • contribs) 02:40, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- Warning: Do not restore the music video thumbnail, it has no place on Wikipedia. I uploaded the Anaconda cover in 2015, five years before you decided to randomly swap it out for a useless thumbnail. PNG is the preferred format for artworks so the jpg upload is not desirable (nor was it ever needed). Any more reverts and I will involve an admin. The fair use rationale on this page is for an artwork, so stop disrupting it with the thumbnail.--NØ 15:00, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
Your user page
[edit]Main user pages should never redirect to the article namespace because this can cause all sorts of confusion (for example important messages intended for your user talk page ending up at the article talk page). Accordingly I've replaced the hard redirect with a soft redirect, although to avoid any potential issues with those who fix links disambiguation pages, I've linked via the WP:INTDABLINK redirect rather than directly. Restoring the hard redirect again (courtesy ping to Serial Number 54129 who you reverted last time) will likely be regarded as disruptive. Thryduulf (talk) 18:38, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- Thryduulf is very politely pointing out to me that I should've done that last time, which is fair enough :) although I admit I still don't quite see the need for a UP to redirect to a dab page; but that could just be me! All the best, ——Serial # 18:48, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Serial Number 54129: A need? Very unlikely. However we're fairly liberal with what we allow on user pages and if someone desires a redirect to a dab page, well a soft redirect is harmless (unlike a hard redirect). Thryduulf (talk) 18:51, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
Ok I get it now thanks Logo fixer (talk) 19:27, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
