John Higgins
[edit]My Birmingham City book describes him as "never particularly prominent on the soccer field, being much better known as a middle-order batsman and slow left-arm spinner", and then talks about his cricket career, so I think we're safe enough leaving him where he is. He played only once in the Football League, which hardly compares with 100+ first-class cricket matches. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 14:57, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Natascha Engel standown meetings ...
[edit]Added that citation ... and, also from the same local rag her self-confession of not 'being within the spirit' of Parliamentary rules. Thanks for the spelling correction ... I thought it looked weird myself %-) ... take care

Outside link?
[edit]Sorry for bothering you but did you say that you came on the British Isles poll by going through another site? If so, would you mind telling me what site? --FF3000 (talk) 13:57, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
- Just in response to your message, I thought that you were talking about another site (I would have had to investigate). It was I who put the notice on the notice board by the way. FF3000 (talk) 23:01, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Malvern
[edit]Hi Loganberry! I've done all I can to the Malvern, Worcestershire article. I think there's a fair chance that together the regular contributors could get it nominated for GA. If you have time, please see Talk:Malvern, Worcestershire#Summary of recent edits, check out the article if you can, and leave any comments and suggestions there. If you see any obvious blunders, do go ahead and fix them. Thanks.--Kudpung (talk) 11:07, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Worcestershire project - use of navboxes
[edit]Hi Loganberry/Archive14! Since the recent creation of the Worcestershire project, several editors are making a concentrated effort to improve the articles and the overall coverage of the county. many of us are learning as we go and since some of these issues regard Wikipedia and/or parent project policy and how we should interpret them, it may be a good idea to discuss them with a view to obtaining a consensus before we do things that may be wasting our time, or undoing the work of others. Please refer to these discussion items in particular:
- Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Worcestershire#DELETION - places with names...
- Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Worcestershire#Parish list template navboxes
- Wikipedia talk:Navigation templates#What should be the purpose of a navigation template? (users Brian Kenedig, Pavel Vozenilek)
and join in the debate on the Worcestershire project talk page. Thanks.--Kudpung (talk) 05:59, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
