Reliable sources
[edit]Hello, when adding information to articles, such as Solana (blockchain platform), please make sure that all sources are reliable. Please review Wikipedia:Reliable sources if you haven't already. The source you most recently added appeared to be a corporate blog post for a consulting company which is using this information to promote its services. This platform is not impartial, and doesn't have a positive reputation for accuracy and fact checking.
Please also make sure that sources explain why some specific detail is encyclopedically significant. Not everything which is technically accurate will be helpful or appropriate for readers of a Wikipedia article. Readers are looking for a broad overview of the larger topic, so if something like this is significant, it should either be uncontroversially obvious why it is significant, or it should be directly explained via reliable, independent sources. Especially for this topic, sources need to be evaluated critically, since cryptocurrencies have serious spam and conflict-of-interest problems.
I recommend against looking for sources that support information you already know to be true. Instead, look for reliable sources and summarize only what they say. Resist the temptation to editorialize. Thanks. Grayfell (talk) 20:59, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
