[edit]Hello, I'm Tornado chaser. I noticed that you recently removed content from Golden sheen sapphire without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. The sources and claims provided in the Gem Association journal have since been proved to be false and confirmed by the chief editor of the Journal of Gemmology. These references must be removed. Additionally, the discovery claim is made by Tanzim Khan, who is using wikipedia for commercial gain and selling gold sheen sapphires. Others are also changing this reference for commercial gain.
Your recent editing history at Locusmt shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 09:04, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Talk pages
[edit]Please "sign" your talk with four tildes: "~~~~". If you leave a message on another's talk page, please add links to articles and pages you are discussing. Often, editors here are working on many projects and links minimize their workload. See help:talk pages. Also, add external links to support your claims. Wikipedia goes by what wp:reliable sources (RS) state. Per wp:verifiability, significant content must wp:cite a wp:RS Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 09:09, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Also, Oshwah's edit was not vandalism. If you want others to help, I would recommend not annoying them. Your removal does not mention any source. So you are removing sourced content without giving any verifiable reference. I would suggest adding an RS to talk:Golden sheen sapphire and add "see talk" in your edit summary. Thank you for this information. I didn't know or understand why people keep changing that page back to false facts within hours. It seems one needs to know how to use wikipedia because there are many rules and these rules require a lot of reading to know about. I am new to this.
The facts about the false citation are true by the way. There are no URLs to quote. This is a world cover up. Speak to Brendan Laurs chief editor of Journal of Gemmology on the phone or email. We are in possession of private witness statements (signed by registered companies.) To check if Tanzim Khan is selling goldsheen sapphire - do a web search and you come across his shop "Genuine gems and jewelry", Bangkok and thousands of references to gold sheen. http://www.bkkgems.com/exhibitor_detail.php?id=386 There are thousands of references to Tanzim Khan selling gold sheen, especially at trade fairs. [edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Golden sheen sapphire, you may be blocked from editing. byteflush Talk 12:55, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

- When you have a wp:reliable source, please do add your content with a wp:citation to that source. Much appreciated - thanks Jim1138 (talk) 00:29, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
