Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. [1] --Ronz (talk) 18:23, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Ronz (talk) 16:01, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the messages. I'm going to get some help with this situation, as it's a bit complicated and I don't have the time to investigate it in the detail I think it deserves. However, please stop adding the links, or someone might block you and/or blacklist the domains before this is worked out. --Ronz (talk) 03:35, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 04:03, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 18:48, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

It may not have been your intention, but your recent edits to Enterprise architecture‎ (diff), Zachman framework (diff), and Enterprise architect (diff diff), may be perceived as vandalism. Some of your edits removed important content and have been reverted.

It is recommended that you comply with the Talk page guidelines by posting your concerns for discussion on the talk pages of the articles (and remember to sign your posts :-) — Athaenara 03:30, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Two edits of yours fifteen minutes after my previous message indicate that you either did not see or did not understand it, so I'm adding this reminder as well. — Athaenara 04:40, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Zachman framework, are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Your comment on my Talk page

[edit]

Hello Lockezachman. Can you please clarify how you happened to choose this particular user name? Stan Locke has complained about it, since he thinks you appear to be trying to speak for him. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 22:49, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Lockezachman. After study of Wikipedia:Username policy#Inappropriate usernames, I believe that your username falls under both the 'Confusing' and the 'Misleading' clauses of that policy. You should immediately choose a new username. If you're willing to do so I can provide assistance. Otherwise it is likely that this account will be indefinitely blocked. There is no problem if you just want to go ahead and create an account with a new name, on your own. If you decide to do that, just leave me a comment at User talk:EdJohnston that you have done so. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 01:06, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
