~Kvng (talk) 15:10, 11 November 2016 (UTC)Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Jeffrey Collé
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Jeffrey Collé, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. DGG ( talk ) 09:02, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Sharon J. Voas
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Sharon J. Voas requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 21:29, 13 July 2017 (UTC)
The article Sharon J. Voas has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable individual lacking non-trivial, in-depth support. More a vanity page than an encyclopedia topic.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. reddogsix (talk) 23:18, 13 July 2017 (UTC)
I can't find any sources to back up the significant claims in your article Sharon J. Voas. No evidence of Pultizer nomination at Pulitzer.org, no evidence of the local/minor awards from city and state organizations, and no evidence of activism. While I do not doubt the person was a journalist, I see no evidence this person meets general notability guidelines or basic biography guidelines. Unless significant coverage in reliable, third party sources can be provided, I will nominate the article for deletion. --Animalparty! (talk) 22:52, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
- Also, if you have a personal or professional connection to the subject, please see Conflict of Interest guidelines. If you have been paid to create or edit the article, please disclose this per WP:COIPAYDISCLOSE. --Animalparty! (talk) 23:41, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
