Rescue Heroes images
[edit]What I did to the Rescue Heroes images was not vandalism. All I did was say who each of the figurines were in the picture of many of the Rescue Heroes figurines. Someone who is looking at the picture might not know who some of the figurines are.
- Firstly, who are you? Sign your comments. Secondly, as far as I was aware, I reverted a 23 line blank space that someone had inserted. If somehow I reverted your edit instead, accept my apologies and by all means change it back. Liverpool Scouse 20:51, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Re: Checkuser?
[edit]You can submit a "Code A" checkuser to see if there are other accounts who are hiding under the same IP. If you had found only one sockpuppet, it wouldn't be worth it, but now that you have established a pattern, you can check to see if there are other socks editing from the same location in the real world. In other words, it's obvious that these are socks, but you want to check if there are others. This is called "IP check", and you could list this case in the lower section of WP:RFCU. Welcome to the Law Enforcement Wikiproject
[edit]Welcome Liverpool Scouse/Archive Aug 2007
Thank you for joining the Law Enforcement Wikiproject on the English Wikipedia! As you would have guessed we are a group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to law enforcement
Since you now are a member you get to have our userbox or banner on your userpage! To add these use:
{{User WikiprojectPolice}}
-- our userbox, or{{Lawenforcementmember}}
-- our member banner.
Here are some more tips to get you started:
- Creating articles: See here for articles you can create, but don't forget to add [[Category:Law enforcement]] to the base of the article and our project banner to the talk page of the article using {{WPLE}}
- Participate on our talk page: It is highly recommended that you watchlist it. There are also a number of small projects on the talk page as well that may be of interest to you!
- Check the bulletin board: For news and information, please read the bulletin board regularly or add it to you user-page using:
{{Lawenforcementbulletinboard}}
- Improve an article: Click here to find all the really short articles, pick one from that list and improve it. When you are done go to the talk page of that article and removed {{WPLE| class=Stub}} the bit in bold and another editor will be along to see how well you have done and reassess the article to a much higher class.
All members are reminded:
- That this project aims for: No vandalism, no conflict and if particular articles in this project are suffering from vandalism, edit wars or talk-page abuse, please add it to the Article Watch List
In a nutshell:
- Dep. Garcia ( Talk + | Help Desk | Complaints ) (Project Coordinator)
- SGGH speak! (Assistant Coordinator)
- Or any project coordinator listed on the main project page or members page.
Again, Thank you and Welcome
Dep. Garcia ( Talk + | Help Desk | Complaints ) 11:31, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Canvassing
[edit]Hello: please do not WP:CANVASS about AFD debates. —METS501 (talk) 20:16, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hello.
- Apologies on my behalf, I didn't realise that notifying people who have significant interest/contributions the article in question at AfD (a mere 3 posts in all from me) qualified as canvassing or spamming.
- I'll be mindful to be wary of your hideously low threshold for this in future. Regards, Liverpool Scouse 00:06, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- Please be as civil as possible; we're all trying to get along here. Anyway, I wasn't referring to the quantity of the posts, but rather their content, especially this one. But that's OK. As long as you're aware of the policy, then everything's good. —METS501 (talk) 00:09, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'm always mindful of being civil - please understand I'm not trying ot be deliberately obtuse here. Whilst there may have been slight bias involved in one or two of the edits, agreed, I don't think that 3 edits constituted being "on a scale that exceeds that of ordinary interpersonal correspondence" (to quote WP:CANVASS), considering those involved were those who I have regularly discussed the article in question with. It's my opinion that the canvassing policy was created to prevent much more direct canvassing and spamming on a much grander scale than my 3 edits. However, that's [i]my[/i] opinion and as you're ultimately the admin here I guess we can just agree to disagree and I'll take your request/warning on board of course. Liverpool Scouse 00:16, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- You're right, I was a bit to quick to leave you a message. And remember, whenever you're involved in a debate with an admin, you have just as much a right to argue as they do, because the title "admin" is almost synonymous to "janitor" :-) —METS501 (talk) 00:18, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

When I went to the ip talkpage I saw no final warning. I blocked for a week since I saw they had just come off a 48 hour block given by me. I would be grateful if you would ensure that a final warning is posted next time. Cheers. LessHeard vanU 20:56, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
ps. Andreasegde is not so active these days. You might try some of the other (ex) Beatles Project members (but perhaps not me, okay?)
